The association and the observance
In Jabez’s founding account, the association creates a structure for research, education and recognition, while World GEO Day creates an annual public occasion for the field. His personal presidential initiative explains the contribution agenda behind that connection.

Why November 15?
World GEO Day is an annual industry-led observance held on November 15. Its date rationale connects the day with the original GEO paper’s first arXiv submission on November 16, 2023.
The association’s founding claim concerns establishing the observance. It does not claim authorship of the research paper or imply that the paper’s authors appointed this association.
Participation in 2026
The event website places the 2026 celebration at LLM Mastery in Chiang Mai on November 15. Visitors can use the event’s program for participation details and the association’s research route to contribute documented work.
