Research review and publication

Submit documented GEO and AEO experiments for review and explore the association’s research standards.

Research review and publication

Submit a GEO or AEO experiment with enough detail for reviewers to understand the question, inspect the evidence and assess the conclusion.

The association’s research mission

Jabez’s founding statement calls for the association to verify and publish experiments submitted by researchers around the world. The submission route below gives that mission a practical starting point: send the record and public evidence for review.

What to submit

  1. Question: the claim or behaviour you investigated.
  2. Conditions: product, version if known, prompts, language, location and dates.
  3. Method: sample selection, baseline, intervention and comparison.
  4. Evidence: outputs, measurements and source files you can share.
  5. Disclosures: affiliations, funding and commercial interests.
  6. Limits: uncertainty, alternative explanations and correction history.

Review and publication workflow

Organizers first check that the submission is understandable and relevant. A substantive review examines whether the method supports the conclusion and which parts can be reproduced. Publication should distinguish an original experiment, a practitioner case study, a reference or an opinion.

Submitting work is not automatic certification. Review scope and any requested revisions should be documented before a reviewed label is used. No completed review reports are published in this library yet.

Reference library

GEO: Generative Engine Optimization is the original primary research reference, first submitted in November 2023 and accepted to KDD 2024. Its benchmark findings should be read with their conditions and limits.

Jabez’s free guides cover experiment design, measurement and reading the GEO paper. They provide practical preparation for a research submission.
